164. Public QuestionsRobin Griffiths: Pizza van – concerns raised regarding health and safety with parking around the entrance to the park. Although initially in favour, additional concerns regarding taking business from other vendors local to the community. It is noted that some of this concern is from third-party feedback to the member of the public.

Establish Community Park Maintenance Schedule (by Councillor Whatley)Llangunnor Community Council creates a schedule of maintenance for the community park; this will help the council to maintain in good order its assets within the park and assist with budget setting. An example of this would be to schedule fence painting every two years.

Perennial Planters (by Councillor Whatley)Llangunnor Community Council will plant its large planters located within the community (Blaengwastod/Pibwrlwyd) with a range of perennial plants to create a display which will return year after year with less maintenance required. This should help to reduce the costs of providing flowers in these locations introducing perennial planting in these areas

Lay Precher, Mike Kirby to do blessing at memorial stone – Cllr M.Williams to lay the wreath. FB post to inform of meeting at the memorial stone. Cllr Graham Slate will lay wreath in sorting office on Saturday. Cllr Slate to enquire about last post for Memorial Stone.

Community Engagement Hour (by Councillor Whatley)Llangunnor Community Council arrange a Community Engagement Hour, based to begin with in the community park, it's aim to bring residents together for small, practical activities such as flower planting, seasonal gardening, litter picking and pathway tidying to enhance our local spaces and foster community pride.

using Section 137 monies to support a Christmas event, suggestion of contacting the Aelwyd to see if the Council could raise a grant for this event to cover the costs so there was no costs to the community – Cllr Whatley to make initial contact.
