Sugarcraft - Naddeen Smith

At branch meetings, you can watch demonstrations of various skills and techniques, e.g. making iced roses and sugarpaste modelling.

It is a great way to learn new skills and techniques and learn tips and tricks to make your hobby more enjoyable.

You can socialise with other members at the meetings and will also have the opportunity to take part in Branch events.

Membership

Membership is open to anyone with an interest in cake decorating and sugarcraft, whatever their skills, from complete beginners to experts and the membership year runs from April to March and half yearly membership runs from October to March.

You will receive The British Sugarcraft Newsletter four times a year (March, June, September and December) which covers reports on events and has an "Exhibition Diary" that publishes forthcoming sugarcraft and allied events.

It also includes skills and tips, and photographs of members' creations to help inspire you.

With membership you will also be able to take advantage of discounts at sugarcraft retailers, and savings on insurance.

Branch members will pay a national membership fee along with an additional fee for the branch - this is to cover hire of the hall and demonstrator's fee

Costs

For details of both national and branch membership fees please contact Carmarthenshire and District Sugarcraft Guild who will be more than willing to answer any queries you may have regarding joining them.
