As part of The Big Lottery funded West Wales Befriending Links Project, which aims to set friendship and activity groups for people aged 50+ around Carmarthenshire.
An art and craft group has been set up in Llangunnor, meeting weekly it gives members of the community over the age of 50 the opportunity to meet new people or catch up with friends - this is the perfect opportunity for the over 50's to get together and get creative.
A warm welcome awaits you whatever your skill level, be it a complete beginner or an expert all abilities are welcome.
So please come along on a Wednesday afternoon to find out more about the exciting arts and crafts activities which are available -
• Card-making
• Crochet
• Drawing
• Knitting
Or you can simply turn up for a chat with old and new friends over a game of cards or dominoes
The sessions are open to everyone over 50 and there's no need to pre-book, simply turn up on the day and bring your friends along with you!
The group is always on the look out for people who have any crafting skills or talents that would be willing to share with the rest of the group.
When:Wednesday between 2.00pm - 4.00pm
Where: Yr Aelwyd, Tregynwr, Carmarthen SA31 2ED (Map)
Cost £1.00 per session and will cover tea/coffee and materials.
