Friendship Centre - Babell Chapel


The Friendship Centre at Babell Chapel opened 19 September 2013 and offers people the opportunity to come and gather, there is no religious motive behind the centre, it is purely for the community to come and share.

Friendship The Reverend Mike Shephard said he wants the chapel on Babell Hill to become a focal point of the community again with a centre offering social gatherings, together with advice and help.

The centre is run by dedicated volunteers who provide tea, coffee and light snacks to the public.

"The friendship centre will be for everyone "

The centre also plans to hold events and activities such as reflexology and coffee mornings.

"We are hoping to develop it as the months go and for people from across Carmarthen to use, not just the Llangunnor area." The centre will open at 10.30am.
