Llangunnor Parish Meeting - Notice of Meeting

A meeting of the above Council will be held at the Login Schoolroom on Tuesday the 5th day of August 1919 at 7.30pm

A meeting was held at the Login Schoolroom on Tuesday the 5th Day of August 1919 at 7.30pm Mr John Rees, Chairman.

It was proposed by Mr David Roberts and seconded by Mr Thomas Griffiths that Mr Daniel Rees be appointed as member on the District Advisory Committee. Carried non con

The case was pointed out by the Clerk of two parishioners Mrs Mary Owen and Mrs Ann Hopkin two ladies who were old age pensioners who appeared to be living in very straitened circumstances and suggested that it would be a much appreciated relief if both these ladies could be exempted from paying the rates. This gave rise to a proposal by Rev J Jenkins and seconded by Mr William Jones that an effort should be made to grant both ladies an exemption from the rates. Carried
