March 3rd 1917 - A Welsh Flag Day was held on the 3rd March the amount taken was £4 10s. 9d and this was paid to London & Provincial Bank at Carmarthen.A house to house collection was made on behalf of the Red Cross Society and a sum of Sixteen pounds an nine pence (£16 0s.9d) was collected.
This sum was paid to the National and Provincial Bank of England at Carmarthen to the credit of WSG Morris Esq Castell Pygryn, Treasurer.

A meeting was held at the Login schoolroom on Tuesday the 27th day of March 1917 at 7pm Mr Lewis Rogers presided
It was proposed by Rev George Evans and seconded by Mr John Morris that the following bills be paid viz/p>

It was agreed that the National Service forms be distributed at each place of worship within the parish the following Sunday.
