A meeting of the above council will be held at the Login Schoolroom on Tuesday the 25th day of September 1917 at 7.30pm

A meeting was held at the Login Schoolroom on Tuesday the 25th day of September 1917 at 7.30pm Rev George Evans, presided
It was proposed by Mr Thomas Richards and seconded by Mr Benjamin Griffiths that the following bill be paid viz.Carried

The Chairman on addressing the meeting pointed out the necessity of raising a fund towards the various causes in connection with the war.
Mr Thomas Richards proposed and Mr John Morris seconded that the council would take a step forward in this matter and that a committee would be appointed to carry out the resolutions.
After a brief discussion on the matter it was proposed by Mr David Roberts and seconded by Mr John Morris than an eisteddfod be held. Agreed
It was also agreed that the proceeds would be used to reward the soldiers and sailors of the parish when home on leave from the front or when called for service abroad and any other cause in connection with the war which the council and committee thinks most necessary best.
The following persons were appointed as officials of the committee Rev George Evans, Chairman, Mr David Roberts and the Clerk (Daniel Rees) as joint secretaries, Mr John Morris, Treasurer
The following persons were appointed to act as the committee Mr David Williams, Square & Compass, Mr John Evans, Brynheulog. Mr George Morgan, Glantowy Lodge, Mr David Evans, Coedgain. Mr Jonah Jones, Cwmtynycoed. Mr William Rees, Nantcaws. Mr Theophilus Davies, Penybryn. Mr David Davies, Tyr Pound. Mr William Jones, Pibwr Mill. Mr David Jones, Nant, Mr John Morris, Tygwyn.
The committee to meet Tuesday next October 2nd at the Login Schoolroom.
Members Present:Rev George Evans (Chairman), Messrs Thomas Richards, John Morris, David Evans, Benjamin Griffiths, Thomas Walters, David Roberts and the Clerk Daniel Rees.
