Llangunnor Parish Council - Notice of Meeting

A meeting of the above council will be held at the Login Schoolroom on Tuesday the 13st inst at 7pm.

To consider an appeal made by Capt EC Harries, Bryntowy in regards to raising a parish contribution for the funds of the Red Cross.
To consider a letter received from the parish council of Abergwili asking for contributions towards repairing the suspension bridge near White Mill.
And any other business

A meeting was held at the Login Schoolroom on Tuesday the 13th day of February 1917 Mr Lewis Rogers Presided.

It was proposed by Mr Essex Morris and seconded by Mr Thomas Richards that a house to house collection be made towards the Red Cross funds. Carried

It was agreed that the following persons be appointed as collectors viz

Miss Jenkins of Penymorfa and Miss Francis, Myrtle Hill for the Western District of the Lower Division of the Parish.

Miss Harries, Bryntowy and Miss Prosser Derwydd for the Northern side of Lower Division of the Parish.

On the Eastern side of the upper division Miss Matilda Roberts, Cwmgigfran and Miss Rachel Anna Richards, Tynewydd.

And for the Southern side of the Upper Division Mr Emrys Evans, Llettydaurfilur and Mr Thomas Rees, Llwynmelyn.

It was agreed that the matter in regards to the suspension bridge of Whitemill be dropped.

Mr Lewis Rogers (Chairman), Mr Thomas Richards, Benjamin Griffiths, Mr Essex Morris, Mr David Evans, Mr Thomas Walters and the Clerk Daniel Rees.
