Llangunnor Parish Council - Notice of Meeting

A meeting of the above council will be held at the Login Schoolroom on Tuesday the 21st of April 1914 at 7.30pm.

To appoint Chairman
To appoint Vice Chairman
To appoint the Clerk and Treasurer
To appoint two Overseers
And any other business

A meeting was held on Tuesday the 21st day of April 1914 at 7.30pm

It was proposed by Mr John Morris that Mr Benjamin Edwards be appointed Chairman seconded by Mr Essex Morris. Carried.

Proposed by Rev George Evans and seconded by John Price that the Clerk and Treasurer be reappointed. Carried.

It was proposed by Mr David Jones and seconded by Mr Benjamin Griffiths that the two Overseers be reappointed as follows Mr Thomas Griffiths of Penymorfa Farm for the lower division and Mr Benjamin Edwards of Tyhen for the upper division. Carried.

It was proposed by Rev George Evans and seconded by Mr Benjamin Griffiths that the Clerk should ask the Vicar to hand over all books and also the Parish map which was now in his possession to the Parish Council. Carried.

Members Present: Mr Benjamin Edwards (Chairman), Rev George Evans, Mr John Morris, Mr John Price, Mr Thomas Richards, Mr Thomas Walters, Mr David Jones, Mr Essex Morris, Mr David Evans, Mr Benjamin Griffiths and the Clerk Daniel Rees.
