Llangunnor Parish Council - Notice of Meeting

A meeting of the above council will be held at the Login schoolroom on Tuesday the 14th day of April 1914 at 7.30pm.

Business

To issue a precept on the Overseers
To consider a Notice of Motion given by Mr Thomas Richards in regards to the widening of the road near Tirbach Farm.
And any other business.

A meeting was held on Tuesday the 14th day of April 1914 Mr John Morris, Chairman

It was proposed by Rev George Evans and seconded by Mr Thomas Griffiths, that a Precept for the sum of five pounds be issued to the Overseers.

Proposed by Mr Thomas Griffiths and seconded by Mr Thomas Evans that the question of widening the road near Tirbach Farm be deferred to the District Council and that the Clerk should state that in order to effect an improvement the landlord of the farm Mr Evan Thomas has made an offer whereby he agrees to grant sufficient width of his adjoining garden to make a suitable widening of the road, further should this be accepted Mr John Price the tenant of the farm undertakes to haul away all rubbish accruing from taking down the hedge which now borders the road. Agreed.

Mr David Evans proposed and Mr Thomas Griffiths seconded that the Clerk should write drawing attention of the District Surveyor to the state of the hedges of the road leading from Beule Issa to Mount Pleasant. Agreed.

Members Present:

Mr John Morris (Chairman), Rev George Evans, Messrs Benjamin Edwards, Thomas Walters, David Jones, Thomas Richards, John Price, Thomas Evans and the Clerk Daniel Rees.
